Seminar Regarding Contract Boilerplate Provisions

The seminar discussed key language provisions with respect to the initial drafting, preparation and amendments of contracts. The seminar was presented at the Penrose Library. We enjoyed pizza buffet and salad from Borriello Bros., while we listened to Ms. Fagin’s delightful presentation.

Technology Update Seminar
8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
The Board of Pikes Peak Paralegals provided a half-day seminar regarding technology updates. The seminar was held on October 16, 2010, in the Adult Room at the Penrose Library downtown. The presentation included information from George Chasse from Westlaw, about searches, new features, and Westlaw products. Lynn Wilkey explained Simplifile’s technology of recording documents electronically with clerk and recorder’s offices in Colorado and throughout the country. PPP wishes to extend a warm thank you to Mr. Chasse, Mr. Wilkey, Westlaw and Simplifile for providing this refreshing and informative seminar. |

Seminar Regarding Restorative Mediation
Presented by Jarla Ahlers and Sandy Eversole, on behalf of The Center for Conflict Resolution. The seminar discussed issues of victim impact and restorative mediation as a resolution for parties to criminal or civil litigation matters. The seminar was presented at The Olive Branch, 23 S.
